Hi, and welcome to my fan site for my favorite TV. show of all time "Monk"! Just sit back, realax and
enjoy my baby-site. Have fun!
"Monk" is the hit USA Network show that everyone loves and some hate.
The main character Adrain Monk (played by Tony Shalhoub) is a former San Francisco PD detective with obsessive-compulsive
disorder and many, many phoibias who spends his lonley days and nights trying to solve the horrible murder of his
beloved late wife Trudy. Trudy was killed in a parking garage by a car bomb.
When he's not trying to solve his wife's murder, he helps his old friends on the force with crimes that are too hard
for them to solve.
In the first, second and the first half of the third season, he was joined by his nurse/assistant Shorona Fleming
(played by Bitty Schram), but she quit, re-married her ex-husband and moved back to her home state of New Jersey (the character,
not the actress). Fans believe Schram left because she wanted more money. Others don't know what to believe.
More recently, Monk is joined by his new assistant Natalie Teeger (played by Traylor Howard) who has done a splendid
job, despite harsh criticism by some fans.
